Jahrhunderthochwasser in Dresden (August 2002) inspirierte mich, die Arbeit <strong>Pflege: Zwischen Zwangshandlung und kultureller Heldentat <\/strong>zu kreieren.<\/p><p>Als die Depots der Dresdner Museen bedroht und schlie\u00dflich \u00fcberflutet wurden, trugen Kuratoren und unerm\u00fcdliche Helfer die Sch\u00e4tze Sachsens in die Ausstellungshallen. Den unvergesslichen Bildern dieses heldenhaften Einsatzes, die in den Medien weit verbreitet wurden, folgten zahllose Portr\u00e4ts von Menschen, die sich um das \u201akulturelle Erbe\u2018, aber auch um andere (oft viel banalere) Objekte k\u00fcmmern. Ich interessierte mich f\u00fcr die Inszenierung dieser \u201apflegerischen Handlungen\u2018 f\u00fcr die Kamera: der Blick, die Gesten, die eingenommene Haltung.<\/p><p>Ich trug eine umfangreiche Sammlung solcher Fotografien aus der Zeitung zusammen (welche die Grundlage f\u00fcr diese Arbeit bildete) und entwickelte in Zusammenarbeit mit sechs jungen Studentinnen der Hochschule f\u00fcr Bildende K\u00fcnste Dresden eine Reihe von inszenierten Handlungen auf der Grundlage dieses Materials. Die entstandenen Fotografien und das Making-of-Video wurden mit weiteren Bildern, Objekten und Film-\/Videoarbeiten zu einer fast 500 Quadratmeter gro\u00dfen Installation in der <a href=\"https:\/\/riesa-efau.de\/kunst-erleben\/motorenhalle\/aktuell-vorschau\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Motorenhalle. Projektzentrum f\u00fcr zeitgen\u00f6ssische Kunst<\/a>, Dresden kombiniert.<\/p><p>Im Laufe der zehnt\u00e4gigen Ausstellung haben wir den Raum immer wieder umgestaltet und durch unsere t\u00e4glichen \u201aPflegema\u00dfnahmen\u2018 (Performances) weiter definiert. Viele Ausstellungsbesucher nutzten die M\u00f6glichkeit, sich aktiv an dem Prozess zu beteiligen.<\/p><p>Die verschiedenen Elemente der Ausstellung bezogen sich spielerisch aufeinander und standen in Beziehung zueinander.
