Die Fotos wurden im Arbeitszimmer eines Hobbybastlers aufgenommen, nachdem dieser unerwartet verstorben war. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt hatte niemand etwas verändert. Sie sind auf Canson Rag Photographique gedruckt und auf Alu-Dibond laminiert, was sie zu eigenständigen Kostbarkeiten macht.
Der Titel ist nach dem Gedicht von Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, aus Birds of Passage, 1863 (unten).
